Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
These terms cover your use of the orkynos website and, together with a signed service agreement, the orkynos automation service. By using the website or the service you accept them. Where a signed service agreement and these terms conflict, the service agreement wins.
2. What orkynos is
orkynos automates repetitive computer workflows for businesses by operating the same software their staff use, through the screen. Each engagement is scoped in an onboarding: which workflows, which programs, which privacy setup, and which steps require human approval.
3. Founding-partner engagements
orkynos is in its founding-partner phase. Scope, pricing, and terms for each engagement are set in the service agreement. Pilots start with a defined workflow, carry no long-term commitment, and either side may end the engagement with written notice as set out in the agreement.
4. Your responsibilities
You confirm that you are authorized to use the software and accounts involved in your workflows, that automating them does not violate your agreements with those software providers, and that a person in your office reviews items awaiting approval. You keep control of your own logins and are responsible for the accuracy of source data your systems contain.
5. Human review of sensitive steps
The service is designed so that outbound or sensitive steps (sending, filing, submitting) wait for approval by your team. Approving a step is your office’s decision; orkynos is not responsible for the consequences of content your team reviewed and approved.
6. Acceptable use
The service may not be used to break the law, to access systems or data without authorization, to evade another service’s security or anti-automation measures where doing so is unlawful or contractually prohibited, or to process data you have no right to process.
7. Data
Your business data stays yours. How it is processed is described in the Privacy Policy and your service agreement, including the choice between the standard and private AI setups. Your data is not used to train public AI models.
8. Intellectual property
orkynos retains ownership of its software, automation technology, and the generalized (non-client-specific) know-how of how workflows are automated. Your data, documents, and outputs produced from your data remain yours.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The website is provided “as is.” For the service, orkynos will perform with reasonable skill and care, but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation; automation can fail, and the approval and logging safeguards exist for that reason. To the maximum extent permitted by law, orkynos’s total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the three months before the claim, and orkynos is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Specific liability terms in a signed service agreement replace this section.
10. Termination
You may stop using the website at any time. Service engagements end as set out in the service agreement; on termination we return or delete your data as agreed and stop all automated runs.
11. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version is posted here with a new date. Continued use of the website after a change means acceptance. Changes to an active service engagement require agreement from both sides.
